Neil Taylor: Liberty factor crucial to Swansea City
5th January
Neil Taylor has reiterated the importance home form will play in the remainder of the Swans' season.
While the FA Cup takes centre stage this weekend, the Swans then have two consecutive home games in the Barclays Premier League as Sunderland and Watford visit the Liberty.
The Swans find themselves two points above third-bottom Newcastle United after last weekend's fixtures.
But the Swans, who have won three and drawn four of their games in SA1, hope to steer clear of the dropzone by making the most of home advantage - starting with Sunderland's trip to the Liberty on Wednesday, January 13.
"Sunderland is a home game - we have to count on all our home games until the end of the season to pick up points," said the left-back. "Then hopefully we can nick some draws away and maybe some wins as well.
"At home especially, if we're going to claw ourselves out of it we need to get some wins.
"If we don't get out of it in the next couple of months we're going to face a real scrap from spring onwards.
"That's just the way it is. We just have to try to win so we don't leave it late."
