Nathanael Ogbeta joins Peterborough United on loan
Swansea City defender Nathanael Ogbeta has joined Peterborough United on loan for the remainder of the season, subject to international clearance.
The 21-year-old links up with Darren Ferguson’s side as they look to force their way into the League One play-off places.
Ogbeta joined the Swans on the final day of the transfer window in January 2022 from Shrewsbury.
The England youth international spent 10 years on the books at Manchester City, but did not make a first-team appearance for the Citizens before moving to the Shrews in January 2021.
He made 58 appearances for them in total, scoring two goals and contributing three assists.
Finding himself almost immediately sidelined through injury following his arrival in SA1, Ogbeta made just two Swans appearances last season.
His sole outing this term came in the Carabao Cup defeat to Oxford United.
Everyone at Swansea City wishes Nathanael every success in his loan spell at London Road.
