Swansea City will have a special fan zone in place for Saturday’s home game against Birmingham City.

The Swans’ opening day fixture is dedicated to Morgan Ridler and sees several fundraising activities for Morgan’s Army, the charity set up by his parents, Natalie and Matthew.

The club was deeply saddened by the passing of Morgan in June, with his brave fight against cancer touching the hearts of everyone.

Morgan’s Fan Park will be open at the south end of the Swansea.com Stadium, with the club donating £1 to Morgan’s Army for every person who enters.

Entry will be free with a valid match ticket or season ticket and is only open to home supporters.

Morgan’s Fan Park will open at 12.30pm with a range of entertainment on display, including a children’s marquee, with activations from Pure Football, Swans Foundation and Superbowl UK, as well as a DJ and face painters.

There will also be a big screen and a stage, with performances from the Subterrania Band and a Q+A with club ambassador Lee Trundle and first-team players Steven Benda and Archie Matthews.

Supporters can submit a question for Steven and Archie by completing the form below.

The fan park will stay open until 2.30pm with plenty of discounted food and drink options available, and will be back open after full-time until the conclusion of the Wales v England rugby international which will be shown on the big screen from 5.30pm.
