Morgan Gibbs-White eyes more goals after confident start
Morgan Gibbs-White feels he is already making strides at Swansea City, and has his sights set on adding more goals to his game under Steve Cooper.
The on-loan midfielder was named man of the match in the weekend victory over Wycombe Wanderers, creating five goalscoring opportunities in his 82 minutes on the pitch.
He has, of course, already opened his account for the Swans after scoring the winner at Preston on the opening day of the Championship season, and had chances to add to his tally against the Chairboys at the weekend.
And it was the only real frustration for the 20-year-old after an impressive start to his spell in SA1.
“I was a bit disappointed not to get on the scoresheet myself, but the important thing will always be that we get the three points and that’s exactly what we did,” he said.
“I definitely want to add goals to my game, scoring on my debut was a good way to start and I would like to carry that on.
“But I’m just happy we got another win and clean sheet, we can now look to keep that run going next week.
“It’s been a massive boost for me playing every week. I can feel my confidence and fitness levels rising and I feel I am really improving.”
