Montero starts in Ecuador defeat

Swansea City winger Jefferson Montero started for Ecuador as they went down to a 3-0 home defeat to Brazil in their 2018 World Cup qualifier in Quito.
The 27-year-old featured for 73 minutes before being replaced by Michael Arroyo immediately after Neymar had fired Brazil ahead from the penalty spot.
Two late goals from debutant Gabriel Jesus condemned Ecuador to their second defeat of their South American qualifying group.
Ecuador sit fourth in the table and visit Peru on Wednesday.
