Michael Duff expects to have same group available for Sunderland test
Swansea City head coach Michael Duff expects to have the same group of players to select from for Saturday’s home meeting with Sunderland.
The Swans boss expects full-back Josh Key to return after the upcoming international on the back of the knock he sustained against Leicester.
Striker Mykola Kuharevich, meanwhile, is set for a longer lay-off, with the Swans waiting for the results of a scan on a knee injury.
“I think we are the same pool of players as we had at Blackburn,” said Duff.
“Josh Key is probably going to be another couple of weeks.
“Myko could be four to six weeks. We are waiting on the results of a scan on his knee, that’s a disappointment because we are a bit short at that end of the pitch.”
Ben Cabango made his return from a hamstring injury against Blackburn, while Azeem Abdulai is making good progress in his own recovery from a hamstring problem.
