Meet the officials | West Bromwich Albion
Sam Barrott will be the man in the middle when Swansea City travel to The Hawthorns to face West Bromwich Albion this weekend. (3pm kick-off)
Yorkshire-based Barrott was promoted to Select Group 2 ahead of the current season, after taking charge of a handful of Championship matches last term.
He oversaw the televised fixture between Sunderland and Ipswich Town last weekend, handing out five yellow cards and one red after Trai Hume committed two bookable offences.
While this will be the first time Barrott has taken charge of a Swans league match, he was previously oversaw the Carabao Cup first-round clash at Reading in August 2021.
The Swans won 3-0 on that night at the Select Car Leasing Stadium with goals from Ben Cabango, Joel Piroe and Joel Latibeaudiere sealing the victory. On that day, Barrott handed out four yellow cards with Dan Williams and Kyle Naughton booked for the Swans.
On Saturday, he will be assisted by Jonathan Hunt and Mark Dwyer. Simon Mather will be the fourth official.
