Will Finnie will be the man in the middle when Swansea City host Portsmouth at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday (3pm).
It will be the first time the Luton-born official has taken charge of a Swans fixture.
Finnie started refereeing at professional level during the 2018-19 season and progressed to EFL competitions the following campaign.
He first took charge of a Championship game when he had the whistle for Millwall’s 3-1 win over Cardiff City in April 2024.
Finnie has since overseen a further six second-tier games.
This season he has refereed 14 games in all competitions, handing out 46 yellow cards and one red.
He will be assisted by Jonathan Hunt and Bhupinder Singh Gill, while David Rock will be the fourth official.
