Ben Speedie will be the man in the middle for Swansea City’s Championship clash at Millwall on Saturday.
The Merseyside-born official will be taking charge of a Swans game for the first time, and this will be just his third Championship fixture.
Speedie started officiating in the EFL in 2020 and he recently took charge of the Vertu Trophy final between Peterborough United and Birmingham City at Wembley.
He first had the whistle for a second-tier fixture in January as he oversaw Queens Park Rangers’ win at Hull City, and was then at the helm for a game between Norwich City and Sheffield Wednesday last month.
On Saturday he will be assisted by Ian Cooper and David Harrison, while Robert Madley will be the fourth official.
