Farai Hallam referee

Farai Hallam will be the man with the whistle when Swansea City host Luton Town on Sunday.

It will mark the first time the former Stevenage apprentice will be taking charge of a fixture involving the Swans senior side for the first time, and just a fourth Championship game.

The Surrey official has refereed at the Swansea.com Stadium before, having overseen an under-21s game in March 2022.

Having once been on the books of Boro and had a spell in Spain, Hallam moved into grassroots refereeing in 2012 and progressed to take charge of his first EFL game in May 2023.

He has also held the role of senior referee officer at the FA’s Centre of Refereeing Excellence (CORE).

At the time of writing he has had the whistle for 17 games in all competitions, dishing out 46 yellow cards and one red.

On Sunday he will be assisted by Mark Russell and Jamies Wilson, while James Linington will be the fourth official.
