Meet the officials | Burnley
David Webb will be the man in the middle for Swansea City’s Championship clash with Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday (3pm).
It’s the second time the Lancashire-based official has taken charge of a Swans match this season, having refereed the recent defat at Blackburn Rovers.
Last season Webb oversaw the 1-1 draw with Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium, a 4-0 home defeat to Leeds United and a south Wales derby victory over Cardiff City in SA1.
Webb is vastly experienced having been added to the National List of Referees in 2008. He took charge of his first Swans match in 2011.
This will be the 21st time he has taken charge of a Swans game in the Championship.
So far this season, Webb has overseen 10 matches – mostly in the Championship – handing out a total of 24 yellow cards.
On Saturday, he will be assisted by Daniel Leach and Andrew Fox. Sam Allison will be the fourth official.
