Meet the officials | Blackburn Rovers
David Webb will be the man in the middle when Swansea City face Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Saturday (3pm).
It’s the first time the Lancashire-based official has taken charge of a Swans match this season, having been at the helm of three last term.
He oversaw the 1-1 draw with Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium, a 4-0 home defeat to Leeds United and a south Wales derby victory over Cardiff City in SA1.
Webb is vastly experienced having been added to the National List of Referees in 2008. He took charge of his first Swans match in 2011.
This will be the 20th time he has taken charge of a Swans game in the Championship.
So far this season, Webb has overseen seven matches – mostly in the Championship – handing out a total of 17 yellow cards.
On Saturday, he will be assisted by Robert Hyde and Mark Stevens. Oliver Langford will be the fourth official.
