Matty Sorinola | I love it here
Matty Sorinola says he is loving his time at Swansea City after joining on a season-long loan from Union SG in the summer.
The 21-year-old admitted that he had a slower start to life in SA1 than he’d hoped but feels he has started to find form in recent weeks.
The form of the versatile player – most often deployed at right wingback in Russell Martin’s side – has coincided with a spell of better results for the team who are now on their longest winning run since August 2019.
Sorinola’s contribution in this run has been a goal and an assist to add to previous runs and at Watford he could hear his name being sung by the travelling fans.
“I love the club and I love it here,” he said.
“It’s a special feeling [to hear the fans]. My family was in the crowd as well, so it made them proud too. The fans are great. I’m loving it here really.
“I think the fans are great. I’m really thankful for everything, I appreciate it. I’m trying to show my support and repay them by my performances on the pitch.”
