MATCH PREVIEW: Liverpool v Swans
29th December
The Swans are aiming for their third straight league win when they face Liverpool on Monday night (8pm).
Garry Monk's side head to Anfield on the back of 1-0 victories over Hull and Aston Villa.
Those results have cemented the Swans' position in eighth place in the Premier League table - three points ahead of Liverpool.
The Reds have had an indifferent first half of the campaign, winning just three games on home soil thus far.
Their 1-0 win over Burnley on Boxing Day would have raised spirits as Brendan Rodgers looks to move his side up the table and towards the Premier League's top four.
WHAT THEY SAID
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers: "We want to end the season in the top four. We know it's a long road to that, but you go step by step and the points can whittle away quickly.
"We're seven points back of that right now, so we just take each game as it comes. We know we'll be much better in the second half than the first if we can keep this momentum going."
Swans boss Garry Monk: "We're looking forward to it. Liverpool have had a difficult start to the season, but Brendan has made changes and they're becoming a very good team again.
"It will be a difficult game, but Anfield is a great place to play football. We have to take belief there. We should go into the game with confidence.
