Man in the middle: Roger East
Roger East will take charge of Swansea City’s Premier League fixture at West Ham on Saturday (3pm).
East, from Wiltshire, will be the man in the middle for a Swans game for the first time this season.
The 52-year-old’s most recent Swansea appointment came in their 2-1 victory over Southampton at the Liberty in January, while he also took charge of the 3-1 win against Liverpool in May 2016.
Co-incidentally, his first-ever Premier League game featured the Swans when Sunderland visited the Liberty in a 2-2 draw in September 2012.
East has refereed 65 matches in the top-flight, issuing 195 bookings and nine red cards.
He will be assisted at the London Stadium by Sian Massey-Ellis and Mark Scholes, who will run the line at a Swans game for the third time this season, while it is also a third appointment of the campaign for fourth official Kevin Friend.
