Man in the middle: Mike Jones
Mike Jones will take charge of Swansea City’s Premier League fixture against Newcastle United on Sunday (4pm).
The Cheshire official will be the man in the middle of a Swans fixture for the second time this season, having officiated the opening-day draw at Southampton.
The 49-year-old has taken charge of 670 matches in all competitions since making his refereeing debut in August 1997.
Jones, who took control of his first top-flight encounter nine years ago, last officiated at the Liberty during Paul Clement's first home game in charge against Arsenal in January.
His previous visit involved Sunday's teams, with the Swans beating Newcastle 2-0 in August, 2015 courtesy of goals from Bafe Gomis and Andre Ayew.
He will be assisted by Adrian Holmes and Mark Scholes, while Robert Madley is the fourth official.
