Head coach Luke Williams believes Swansea City achieved their aim of adding pace and athleticism to the squad during the January transfer window.

Ronald, Charles Sagoe Jr and Przemyslaw Placheta all joined the Swans during the final week of the window, providing Swans boss Williams with additional options in the final third.

Williams had spoken of a desire to bring in dynamic attacking players since his appointment, and believes the trio have the ability to provide those qualities.

I think it went well, I am very happy,” said Williams.

“We had an objective to bring more pace and physicality to the squad and we have done that.

“Not only did we bring what we required, we got good guys as well. I am impressed with the process we went through and the hard work that went in behind the scenes.

“We had clear objectives and targets, to bring in pace and athleticism, and that is what we have got, so you cannot complain about that.”
