Luke Williams | We need to show we have learned from painful defeat
Head coach Luke Williams has urged his side to learn from their suffering in defeat at Bournemouth by turning in an improved showing against Leicester City tonight (7.45pm).
The Swans return to action against the Championship leaders at the King Power Stadium looking to quickly respond after losing 5-0 to the Cherries as they exited the FA Cup.
Williams took responsibility for that loss, but is clear that he expects the Swans to have taken onboard the lessons from a painful night on the south coast and produce a better display against the Foxes.
“Bournemouth was painful but we have to learn from it,” said the Swans boss.
“We have an incredibly tough game against a team who are likely to be in the Premier League.
“We have to take as much learning as we can and try to make a better fist of it in this one.
“We suffer as a group, I suffer with the team, I feel I could have helped the team more on the day.
“Now we need a different approach, and that’s what we have been working on.”
