Luke Williams wants Swansea City to maintain their level of focus as they look to carry a strong end to 2024 into the start of 2025 at Portsmouth this afternoon (3pm).

The Swans will be cheered on by a sold-out away end as they make the journey to Fratton Park for the first time since April 2011.

Swansea travel on the back of strong performances in back-to-back home victories over Queens Park Rangers and Luton Town, results which have moved them up to ninth in the table and within four points of the play-off places.

But the head coach wants the Swans to keep their feet on the ground, and continue to work diligently in order to give themselves the best chance of making it a hat-trick of wins on the spin.

“We have a tough schedule coming up, but obviously we are in good spirits after these two wins,” he said.

“Still, we have to recover correctly and prepare again, and we have to be ready for a very tough game.

“We have to continue to try and perform in this way that we have performed in the last two games and hopefully we can come out of a busy Christmas period in a good place.

“Fratton Park is a very tough place to play and we are facing a team who I think have been starting to find their feet in the Championship.

“We know we will be in for a very tough game.”
