Luke Williams | We know what we need to do
Head coach Luke Williams wants Swansea City to build and develop following a mixed start to the season as they prepare to host Norwich City this afternoon.
The Swans will look to continue their unbeaten start to the Championship campaign on home soil, having taken four points from their two fixtures in SA1 to date.
Norwich are a point better off than the hosts having taken five points from the opening month of the season.
Williams feels there have been positive signs of what the Swans are capable of in periods of games, but acknowledges they have plenty they can improve on.
"I think it's fair to say it's been a mixed start," said the Swans boss.
"In the short amount of time we have been playing this season, we have shown we can be excellent, and we have shown we can be fragile at times.
"I don't think there has been a game where we have been poor from start to finish.
"We had a really good performance against Preston, I think we entertained everybody that night, and then we had one good half against Cardiff and one where we played not so well, and West Brom was the same.
"It's a mixed bag for sure, but now we have to look at the positives, see if we can blend a group together that is capable of having a very good season with a core we can keep together moving forward.
"We know what we have to do to be a better team. We need to be more resilient on the road, and we have to be more thorough and concentrated at home.
"We are not a huge distance away from where we want to be."
