Luke Williams | We have shown we can bounce back, we need to do it again
Head coach Luke Williams is backing his Swansea City side to rebound from their New Year's Day defeat and produced a much-improved performance when they host West Bromwich Albion this afternoon (12.30pm).
The Swans host the Baggies having taken six points from nine over the festive period, with this the fourth and final game in a relentless 10-day period.
But their defeat was their heaviest of the campaign so far, coming via a 4-0 loss at Portsmouth to start 2025.
Williams admitted that performance was well below the level required, but is confident his side have the mentality to react in the right way.
"This group has shown on a number of occasions that they have a level of resilience," he said.
"I am optimistic that we can show that again and have a far better performance against West Brom at home.
"We are certainly looking forward to trying to do that."
