Luke Williams and Swansea City are excited to be back on home soil and will welcome the expected extra edge to proceedings when they welcome Bristol City to the Swansea.com Stadium this afternoon (3pm).

The Swans and the Robins lock horns in front of the Sky Sports cameras, with the home side looking to maintain their unbeaten Championship home record and build on consecutive wins over Norwich and Coventry.

But games between the two sides in recent years have proven to be hard-fought contests and head coach Williams is expecting Liam Manning's visitors to provide a tough test in SA1, and hopes his players and the Jack Army feed off the occasion.

"I think when there is any game between sides in the M4 corridor, they are teams we are always looking to have a rivalry with," said Williams.

"There is a bit more edge to it, but I think that is great for us because it will help us to be sharp and to perform at our best.

"They are a good team, and they will be a tough test for us.

"I think Liam has been on a similar journey to me, he is someone I respect. We are trying to work hard and improve as we go along.

"But we are looking forward to being back on home soil, to being in front of our fans, we would love to see them at the stadium in big numbers, we would love that.

"We are going there to entertain them and try and give them something to be excited about."
