Head coach Luke Williams insists Swansea City travel with no shortage of belief in themselves, and has urged his squad to show it when they face Hull City on Saturday (3pm).

The Swans will be viewed as underdogs heading to the MKM Stadium with the Tigers currently occupying the final play-off spot.

Williams and his side have been frustrated not to have made more of the positive spells and the chances they have created in recent fixtures.

But he is confident that addressing those issues and continuing to improve performances will give them every chance of picking up results.

“We dare to believe and we have a gameplan we have worked on. We believe in ourselves and we are going there expecting a tough game, but looking to win and be competitive,” said Williams.

“They are very good, the manager has done a brilliant job, and he did a great job helping Wayne Rooney at Derby in a very challenging time.

“But we have to go there believing in ourselves. The players have the belief we can go there and perform well. We are not going there beaten before we travel, I can tell you that.

“We need to create the positive actions we had in the last games, and make sure we convert those.

“We also have to concentrate and focus all the time because we have given up goals we did not need to.

“So, we have to be focused throughout the game and take our chances. The more we work on the training pitch the more chance we have of making those things a reality.”
