Luke Williams | This is as tough a test as you can get, but we are looking forward to it
Head coach Luke Williams believes Swansea City face one of the toughest assignments in the Championship at Turf Moor this afternoon, but says it is a test his side are looking forward to as they seek a third win in eight days.
The Swans head to Lancashire following fine performances and results against Oxford United and Watford that had launched them into the top 10 prior to this weekend's fixtures.
Burnley, who were in the Premier League last term and dominated the Championship when they were last in the division, are among the early pacesetters, but have gone four games without a win.
Not that the Swans or Williams view that as diminishing the task ahead of them, but the head coach has seen his side perform strongly against those in the upper reaches, and he wants them to do so again.
“It's as big a test as they get in the Championship,” he said.
“It’s going to be a very tough place to play football and establish ourselves.
"They are a team with a lot of quality and a manager with a lot of experience.
"We know it’s going to be a really tough game but we’re preparing for that now and we’re looking forward to it.
"We have shown that we can compete with the top sides in the division and this is certainly going to be a huge test."
