Luke Williams insists Swansea City will not shy away from the challenge of travelling to face West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns this afternoon (3pm).

The Swans take on the Baggies looking to bounce back from the disappointment of the midweek Carabao Cup exit against Wycombe Wanderers, but also to extend their unbeaten run in the league to three games.

West Brom, meanwhile, have two wins and a draw from their first three Championship fixtures, having reached the play-offs last term.

But it is a test Williams and his players will be ready for.

“We know they are a very good side, and they have a really top manager who is going to be a Premier League manager in the near future,” said the Swans boss.

“It is going to be a really good test for us, but we will not shy away from the challenge and I expect us to make a really good performance away at West Brom.

“As I said in midweek there are certain things I will not accept in a performance, but we should remember that this group has shown it is full of intensity and aggression, and we need that again.”
