Luke Williams provides injury updates ahead of South Wales Derby
Luke Williams has provided an injury update on his squad ahead of Saturday's south Wales Derby clash at the Cardiff City Stadium.
The Swans boss is optimistic that centre-back duo Ben Cabango and Harry Darling are making strides in their recovery ahead of Saturday's trip to Cardiff.
Williams also provided an update on Sam Parker and Ollie Cooper, who have both returned to the grass in recent weeks.
Kristian Pedersen still remains on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
"Ben was able to get out on the grass today, so that's better. He couldn't do all of training, but we got him out on the grass," said Williams.
"Harry wasn't able to train, but I'm optimistic he'll be able to train at some point before Saturday.
"Sam Parker is training well, he's in a good place. We have to be careful, because he's a young player and he suffered a setback a few months ago.
"Ollie warmed up today, and he did some work with the conditioning team, which was really pleasing to see."
