Local charity to benefit from Swansea City sponsorship gesture
Swansea City will proudly wear a local charity’s logo on its shirt for the Carabao Cup clash with Watford – and you can help decide who will it will be.
The Swans want to highlight the hard work and effort of a local cause, which will be given free use of the club’s shirt sleeve sponsorship for the cup tie with the Premier League side at Vicarage Road on Tuesday, September 24.
To further help the charity, it will receive the match worn shirts from the game to auction and raise vital funds.
And the Jack Army will have their say in which charity benefits from the gesture.
With the community at the heart of our club, only local charities will be considered.
All you have to do is email charity@swanseacity.com with the name of your nominated charity – along with its logo – and a short description on why they should benefit.
The deadline for entries is noon on Friday, September 6, with the winner chosen by 5pm that day.
