Eder missed out on a League Cup winners medal in France after Lille were beaten in the final by Paris St Germain at the Stade de France.
The striker played the full 90 minutes as Lille, who levelled early in the second half, went down 2-1 following Angel Di Maria's winner despite PSG being reduced to ten men after Adrien Rabiot was dismissed.
Staying in France, Franck Tabanou was a late substitute as St Etienne moved to within two points of second-placed Lyon thanks to a 2-0 home win over Lorient.
The full-back, making his 12th appearance, played for the final five minutes as the race for Champions League qualification heats up in Ligue 1.
In League Two, Liam Shephard claimed an assist as Yeovil Town held champions Northampton 1-1 at Huish Park.
Shephard's looping shot dropped to Harry Cornick, who headed Darren Way's side ahead after just six minutes.
But Yeovil, for whom Connor Roberts also played the entire game, were pegged back just after the half-hour mark.
Alex Samuel had a brief run out in Morton's 0-0 draw with Hibernian.
The striker made his 29th appearance of the season for Morton, who remain fifth in the Scottish Championship.
Meanwhile, Matt Grimes, Oliver McBurnie and Gerhard Tremmel were unused subs for Blackburn, Bristol Rovers and Werder Bremen.
