Barrow, who made his debut in Blackburn's cup defeat to Shrewsbury Town, featured for an hour before bring replaced by Hope Akpan.
The Gambian international is next in action on Tuesday night when Cardiff City visit Ewood Park.
Adam King played the full 90 minutes as Crewe went down 2-0 at Scunthorpe.
