First team
Liam Walsh’s superb strike against Huddersfield Town has won Swansea City’s Goal of the Month vote for April.
The midfielder scored Swansea’s fourth goal in the win at the John Smith’s Stadium, finishing off a counter-attack by arrowing a swerving, dipping effort over the keeper and into the top corner of the net.
The goal came out on top ahead of Jamie Paterson’s near-post thunderbolt against Norwich City, Ronald’s finish after wonderful passes from Carl Rushworth and Josh Tymon against Huddersfield, and Josh Key’s touch and finish in the closing stages of the win over Stoke City.
Everyone who voted was entered into a random draw to win a signed home shirt. The winner will be contacted by email.
