Liam Cullen wins September Goal of the Month
Liam Cullen’s stunning free-kick for Swansea City Under-23s against Porto B has been voted the club’s Goal of the Month for September.
The in-form striker curled home a wonderful left-footed strike at Landore as the development side romped to a 5-1 win over the Portuguese side in the Premier League International Cup.
And the Jack Army clearly loved it as it scooped 32 per cent of the vote to just edge out Katy Hosford’s superb goal for Swansea City Ladies against Aberystwyth.
Sam Surridge’s goal at Watford and Borja Baston’s header against Reading were the other goals nominated.
All those who voted went into a draw to win a Swans jersey signed by Liam, and Ceri Davies is the winner.
