Liam Cullen hopes to help Wales in key games
Liam Cullen hopes he can play a part in helping Wales emerge from an important international break with a pair of positive results.
The Dragons host Gibraltar in Wrexham on Wednesday evening in a friendly, before they host Croatia in Cardiff in a crucial Euro 2024 qualifier.
Cullen has been in the last handful of senior squads under Rob Page, and is hoping he will get the chance to win his first cap for his country.
But he will put the team first and do all he can to try and ensure Wales stay in the hunt to qualify for the finals in Germany through their group.
“It’s always an honour to be selected for your country, and they are important games with the friendly before the qualifier on Sunday,” said the Swansea City forward.
“I am really looking forward to going away, it is always a privilege to be involved in the national side.
“I have really enjoyed the experience since receiving that first call up to the senior group.
“Of course, I really hope I can get the chance to make my debut but the main thing will be for us to get two good performances and two good results from this camp.”
