Liam Cullen fit and available for Canaries test
Liam Cullen is fit and available for Swansea City’s Championship clash with Norwich City on Saturday.
The Wales international picked up an ankle knock prior to the international break, and missed the defeat at West Bromwich Albion.
But he has recovered to play a full part in training and is in contention to face the Canaries at the Swansea.com Stadium.
Head coach Luke Williams also confirmed that youngsters Sam Parker and Aimar Govea have returned to training in the wake of injuries, and are building up their fitness.
“Liam is doing very well,” said the Swans boss.
“He was unfortunate not to remain with the Wales squad, but he is back in full training and is available.
“Sam is also training with the first team with no problems, he will try to pick up some game time with the under-21s in the coming weeks.
“He is pretty much there, but it will be better for him to pick up those minutes before he returns to playing in the Championship.
“Aimar is now also training, he is with the under-21s and he will also pick up some minutes.
“We have also got all our internationals back, and we have tried to work as much as we can with them in the time we have before the game.”
Williams also confirmed Kristian Pedersen is set for a few weeks on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury.
