Ladies hit six past Aberystwyth
1st February
Swansea City Ladies moved up to third in the table following a 6-0 victory over Abertystwyth Town.
The Swans broke the deadlock after nine minutes when defender Amanda John was fouled, leaving Chloe Lloyd to hit a fine free kick into the top corner.
Ten minutes into the second half the Swans doubled their lead as Rachel Rowe scored from the spot, before Emma Beynon added a third on 75 minutes.
Two minutes later they added another when a cross from Beynon found Sarah Adams who shot across the face of goal and found the back of the net.
Kelly Newcombe volleyed home with four minutes to play, while Beynon rounded things off with a fine finish late on.
