Kyrell Wilson praises team effort after late drama
Kyrell Wilson hailed the team spirit shown by Swansea City Under-18s after fighting back with two late goals to earn a point at Burnley.
Wilson and Iwan Morgan struck in stoppage time against the Clarets as the young Swans came from 3-1 down to snatch a 3-3 draw.
Wilson has been a regular feature for Jon Grey and Anthony Wright's Under-21s' outfit this season, and he netted his first goal for the development side in a 3-0 win against Wigan Athletic at the Swansea.com Stadium.
Meanwhile, the young attacker has two goals in as many games for the under-18s and was proud of how Darren Davies' side never gave up and got their rewards in Lancashire.
"In the first-half, we had a slow start. But, in the last stages, we came together and worked hard to claim the point. It was good to see everyone working together," said the 17-year-old.
"Playing for both the under-21s and under-18s at the moment is good for my development. I just love playing football, so it's great to feature for both teams.
"Going into next week, we'll just be analysing the play both as a team and as players. We'll be putting in the work on the training pitch to improve on this game and hopefully, we can get the three points at Cardiff."
