Kyle Naughton fit for Watford fixture
Kyle Naughton is fit for Swansea City’s Championship clash with Watford after recovering well from the shoulder knock he suffered against West Brom.
The defender soldiered through the game at The Hawthorns after originally picking up the issue in the opening half, helping Russell Martin’s side seal a dramatic 3-2 victory.
And there were no other injury issues to report from the weekend fixture.
The Swans will make a late decision on the fitness of midfielder Joe Allen, while Liam Cullen and Jamie Paterson will miss out as they continue to work through shoulder and groin injuries.
“Everyone came through unscathed at the weekend,” said assistant head coach Matt Gill.
“There were a couple of knocks, obviously Naughts was in the wars a little bit with his shoulder but he has come through okay, which is great.
“Our international boys have come through their time away and then got some minutes with us at the weekend and come through that okay, so everyone from the weekend is fine.
“We will see where we are with Joe after we train and make a decision, Liam Cullen was back on the grass but the game will be too soon for him, and it’s the same for Pato.”
