Kyle Joseph joins Oxford United on loan
Swansea City forward Kyle Joseph has joined Oxford United on loan for the remainder of the 2022-23 season, subject to international clearance.
Joseph links up with Karl Robinson’s U’s as they look to again fight for promotion from League One, after finishing eighth last term.
The 20-year-old joined Swansea City from Wigan Athletic in June 2021 on a four-year deal.
The striker picked up Wigan's academy player of the year award for his efforts in the 2019-20 season, scoring 23 goals in all competitions for the Latics' under-18s.
A promising talent, he progressed further during Wigan's 2020-21 campaign as he scored five goals in 18 first-team appearances in League One.
The Scotland age-grade international spent the first half of the 2021-22 season on loan at League One Cheltenham Town making 24 appearances. In the latter half of the campaign he made 10 substitute appearances for the Swans.
Everyone at Swansea City wishes Kyle every success during his time at the Kassam Stadium.
