Kristoffer Peterson | Quick turnaround offers chance to make amends
Kristoffer Peterson feels Swansea City will benefit from the quick turnaround between games as they look to move on from their Millwall disappointment.
The Swans fell to a 1-0 defeat against the Lions thanks to a Jed Wallace free-kick.
Peterson went as close as anyone to helping the Swans get something from the game, a lovely turn sending him in on goal only for Bartosz Bialkowski to save his left-footed effort.
Attentions now quickly turn to Tuesday’s clash with Huddersfield at the John Smith’s Stadium.
And the Swedish winger is glad he and his team-mates will have a chance to rapidly make amends.
“I think having a match so soon after is exactly what we want after a bad performance,” he said. “Sometimes if you go a week, you have time to overthink the performance or you want to change too many things.
“We have been brilliant away from home this season, so obviously we approach the Huddersfield match with confidence despite today’s performance.
“We have no time to overthink this game, Tuesday’s game is massive as is every game in this league.”
