Kristian Fletcher relishing perfect start at Swansea City
Kristian Fletcher is relishing his perfect start to life at Swansea City, as the American has already got three goals to his name following his arrival early September.
The 18-year-old, on loan from Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit DC United, netted a brace against Hull City in Swansea City Under-21s' opening Premier League Cup fixture on Friday evening.
His first goal in Swans colours came in stoppage time at the CBS Arena, as the Swans staged a late comeback against Coventry City, before he struck the final penalty against Cardiff City to secure a quarter-final spot in the Nathaniel MG Cup.
And the American has his sights set on extending his goal tally.
"I'm really enjoying my start here. I've been working hard and I want to give the team my all," said Fletcher.
"I'm loving the game time, especially getting 90 minutes under my belt. It's something I've lacked in the past six month or so.
"To finally be playing again, and scoring again, it feels amazing.
"When I first came here, I had a goal target in mind, and I think I can get there!
"We're playing really well at home, it's something we want to keep going as long as possible. It's a very important stat to have, and we have the performances and motivation to keep that going."
