Josh Tymon | We have to round off the season positively for everyone around the club
Josh Tymon wants Swansea City to make sure they round off the season strongly and give everyone connected with the club reasons to be positive heading into the summer.
The Swans head to Middlesbrough this weekend looking to bounce back from a home defeat to Queens Park Rangers on Easter Monday.
They travel to the Riverside Stadium having lost just one of their last five away games, winning at Hull City and Sunderland, and drawing at Sheffield Wednesday.
And Tymon says it is important Luke Williams’ team respond and make sure they round off the campaign on a high over the final half-a-dozen games.
“We need to bounce back. We’ve only got six games left and we need to finish as strongly as we can to give everyone – not just the fans, but everyone around the club – optimism, moving forward with the manager into next season,” said the full-back.
“We have a chance to put that right.
“We won at Hull not that long ago, dominated the game at our own pace and there’s no reason why we can’t do that again next week.
“Our focus will be on that this week, and hopefully we can give the fans that travel something to go home with because it’s a long trip.
“We believe we can turn it around, but we need to go out there and do it.”
