Josh Tymon believes the Jack Army will have a vital part to play when Swansea City host Southampton on Saturday.

The televised game will kick off at 12.30pm and will be Luke Williams’ first league game on the Swansea.com Stadium touchline as Swansea City head coach

The visitors, meanwhile, looking to set a club record for consecutive unbeaten league matches under former Swans boss Russell Martin.

And, following the incredible support from 2,000 members of the Jack Army on the road last time out at Birmingham, wing-back Tymon believes the home supporters will have a big role to play when the Swans host one of the promotion hopefuls.

“It’ll be a good atmosphere,” he said.

“I think it’ll be two good teams going toe-to-toe, and obviously we need to put on a better performance than we did before against them.

“I’ll imagine the fans will turn up in their numbers, and it should be a good game of football and we’ll really need them on Saturday.”
