Jordon Garrick seals Forest Green move following loan recall
Swansea City winger Jordon Garrick has joined Forest Green Rovers for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance, following his recall from his loan spell at Lincoln City.
The 24-year-old has made 16 appearances since joining the Red Imps last summer, scoring one goal for the League One side.
He will now join Forest Green in a permanent transfer as Rovers look to avoid relegation from the third tier.
The move will see Garrick link up with a familiar face in Brandon Cooper, after the defender completed a loan move to the New Lawn earlier this week.
Garrick came through the ranks at non-league club Ossett Albion before joining the Swans in November 2015.
The Jamaican-born winger was part of the under-23s side that won the league and cup double in 2016-17.
After making his senior debut in the Carabao Cup victory over Northampton, Garrick broke into the first-team squad during the 2019-20 season, scoring three goals in 14 appearances.
He made five appearances in 2020-21 before joining Swindon Town on loan. He scored two times in 19 appearances but couldn't prevent the Robins from being relegated to League Two.
He joined Plymouth Argyle on a season-long loan for the 2021-22 campaign, scoring seven goals in 50 appearances, before going back out on loan to Lincoln at the start of this term.
In total, Garrick made 19 appearances for the Swans and scored three goals.
Everyone at Swansea City wishes Jordon every success in his future career.
