'Jordan gives us good options'
Martin Olsson reckons the return of Jordan Ayew gives Carlos Carvalhal strong options in attack going into Saturday’s key Premier League clash with Everton.
Ayew is available again having sat out Swansea City’s last three matches following his red card in the goalless draw at Huddersfield last month.
The Swans’ 10-goal top scorer had been in fine form before his sending off against the Terriers and will give Carvalhal’s squad a welcome boost ahead of Everton.
Ayew comes back into the fold after Tammy Abraham scored his first Premier League goal since October to earn his team a point at West Brom last weekend.
Jordan’s big brother Andre, meantime, has produced some influential displays since returning to the Liberty in January.
And Olsson believes the Swans are well stocked up front as they go in search of victory over Everton.
“Jordan has been vital for us this season. He gives us something different going forward, and I’m sure he will be in the manager’s plans for Saturday,” the Swans left-back said.
“He has scored some important goals for us this season and we have had to play slightly different during his suspension.
“Welcoming Jordan back into the squad is a big boost for us.
“Tammy scored an important goal for us last weekend so his confidence is up, while we know what Andre can bring to the team too, so the manager is not short of attacking options for the Everton game.”
