John-Davis delighted by return from injury
Swansea City Ladies winger Stacey John-Davis was delighted to make her return from injury in the 4-0 win over Llandudno.
John-Davis suffered a broken collarbone back in the 2-1 Welsh Premier Women’s League quarter-final win over Port Talbot back in December.
But, having completed her rehabilitation, she made her comeback as a substitute in the 54th minute in North Wales.
“It felt great to be back on the pitch. It’s been a long and tough recovery but I’m happy to be back to help the girls finish the season strong,” said John-Davis.
“There is still a lot to play for this season, including the League Cup final, so I’m looking forward to that.”
Before picking up her injury, John-Davis had been in fine form having netted six goals in seven matches.
The forward will now be looking to take the next step in her recovery to full match fitness by getting her name back in manager Ian Owen’s starting XI.
