Joel Latibeaudiere | Friendly a good test to end a positive week
Joel Latibeaudiere believes Saturday’s friendly at Dundee United is a great way for Swansea City to end a positive week of work in Scotland.
Russell Martin’s squad have been based at the Oriam Performance Centre just outside Edinburgh as they build towards the return of Championship football in a week.
Having played Hearts behind closed doors in midweek, they head to Tannadice to take on another Scottish top-flight side in Liam Fox’s Tangerines.
The game was arranged at short notice after an originally scheduled game against Rangers was cancelled following the change of manager at Ibrox.
And Latibeaudiere is glad the Swans will get another hit-out to round off their time north of the border.
“It has been a really good week,” said the defender.
“We have got a lot of work in on and off the field, and the time away has allowed us to spend more time together as a group as we get ready to go again.
“Having two good games has also been great, playing against two top-tier sides makes a difference.
“We played some really good stuff against Hearts on Tuesday and we will want to try and do that again as it’s the last chance before we face Norwich.
“Like I say, it’s been a really good week and this game is a really good way to round it off.”
