Joe Allen in contention for West Brom, Joel Latibeaudiere back in squad
Joe Allen is in contention for Swansea City’s trip to West Brom, while Joel Latibeaudiere is back in the squad after his shoulder injury.
But Jamie Paterson is set to miss out as he battles with a groin issue, while Liam Cullen is not yet ready to return from his own shoulder injury.
Allen picked up a hamstring problem in the first half of the victory over Hull City before the international break, and was unable to join up with Wales for their Nations League games against Belgium and Poland.
However, it has proved to be only a minor problem and he has been able to play a part in training this week.
Defender Latibeaudiere, meanwhile, is back having been absent since dislocating his shoulder in the home draw against Millwall.
“Joe is back in training, and he has been great,” said Martin.
“We will have to assess it and see if tomorrow is the right time to start him or not. He has looked good, the injury was only a minor issue, which was great news for us and Joe.
“Liam Cullen is close to being back in training with the group thanks to great work from him, the medical team and the sports science team here.
“Joel Latibeaudiere is back in the squad, and he has been training for a couple of weeks.
“With Pato, it is a frustrating one. He has been out and is battling an injury he has had on and off since pre-season.
“He is trying to battle through it, but we are not being able to see the best of him, so he has had a couple of weeks out and has been to see a specialist.”
