Joe Allen available for Sunday's south Wales Derby

Swansea City midfielder Joe Allen is fit and available for Sunday's south Wales derby.

Head coach Luke Williams confirmed the former Wales international is in contention after making a return to full training following injury.

Andy Fisher, Aimar Govea, Sam Parker and Josh Ginnelly will miss out for the Swans as they continue their rehabilitation.

"Joe Allen is in full training, so he is available for selection," said Williams.

"It's a boost, we are all happier when Joe is available for selection, we love him to that is great news."

Williams also revealed the Swans are closing in on making a pair of additions to their squad ahead of Sunday's clash.

"There are a couple of players we hope will be joining us very shortly, and we will be able to introduce those guys in the very near future," he added.

"We just want to make sure the medicals go well, but it is really good news for us."
