Jeremy Charles to guest in 1912 Heritage Lounge for Millwall
Jeremy Charles will be the guest speaker in the 1912 Heritage Lounge for Swansea City’s Championship clash with Millwall on Saturday, November 23.
The 3pm kick-off later this month will see the Swans look to extend a three-match unbeaten run that has helped put them in a play-off spot with a third of the season completed.
Former Swans forward Charles will always be remembered for his left-foot finish at Preston in 1981, which sealed a 3-1 win to ensure John Toshack’s side reached the top-flight for the first time in the club’s history.
Charles, the son of Mel and the nephew of John, made just shy of 250 league appearances for Swansea between 1976 and 1983, as well as winning 19 caps for Wales.
