Jay Fulton feels he has been getting back to his best, and is determined to help Swansea City continue their strong form over the final two games of the season.

The midfielder has been excellent over that recent run, catching the eye with tireless showings in the draw with Leeds United, and wins over Derby County, Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers.

The 31-year-old has previously admitted his frustrations at a campaign that has been disrupted by a calf injury.

But he believes he and the Swans are finishing the campaign well, and Fulton wants to make sure they round things off in the right manner against Millwall and Oxford United.

"The mood around the squad and staff is really positive at the moment, our form has been a big part of that and it only motivates even more game by game,” said the Scot.

"On a personal note, it's a been a positive few months for me. Like every player, I just want to play and I give it my everything when I do and hope fans can see that.

"I feel my performances are getting better, and I'm enjoying every second of it. Winning five in a row has made it all much better.

"It’s been a real group effort, we’ve had a good defensive record and everyone has contributed.”

QPR’s goal in Swansea’s 2-1 victory was the first the visitors had conceded across their winning sequence.

But Fulton was pleased with how the Swans responded, and managed to see out the game.

"We're disappointed in one aspect to concede as we had four clean sheets in a row, it was a tough one to take even though we held on to win the game,” added Fulton.

"We stuck together so well, QPR had a bit of pressure after they scored the goal, but I don’t feel they ever had any big chances and we defended well.

"The fans were amazing the whole game, they did not stop singing. We're all happy to have gotten the three points for them, they've been incredible over the last few games and has definitely helped us pick up the form we've been on.”
