Jamie Sherwood | It's frustrating and disappointing
First-team manager Jamie Sherwood rued missed opportunities as his side were held to a frustrating goalless draw against Briton Ferry Llansawel Ladies.
Stacey John-Davis and Lauren Davies came closest, but were unable to take the opportunity to seal three points for the Swans.
The result leaves the Swans needing a point in their final Genero Adran Premier phase one fixture against Wrexham to secure a place in the championship fight when the top-flight splits.
Sherwood was disappointed his side couldn’t capitalise on their dominance, and admits they need to find a clinical edge in front of goal.
“It’s frustrating and it’s disappointing,” said Sherwood.
“We’ve created more than enough opportunities to win the game, we’ve dominated possession for 94 minutes.
“We got into good positions and dominated every aspect of the game as we asked the players to do, but we leave the game feeling disappointed and frustrated.
“Our goalkeeper has collected one cross all game and that’s really it, so we haven’t done something right and we haven’t taken our chances, which is maybe the story of our season so far.
“The hardest job in football is to put the ball in the back of the net, but week in week out we work on patterns and phases, finishing, we just need more composure.
“We need to be able to take our chances, at this moment in time and throughout the season we haven’t done that in games we are dominating.
“It's an area we need to improve on and address."
